Okay, so we totally just had the best dinner... ever. Or at least the best dinner we've made at home for a VERY long time. I'm not sure what was my favorite part -- the fact that it was so easy or the fact that it was so cheap?
I'm going to expand on these thoughts so when I quickly forget this moment, hopefully I can remind myself here. I get bored with cooking at home pretty fast because it can really get monotonous. Also, who doesn't like propping their feet up and having someone else cook for you? But thanks to the crock pot, we can eat at home for cheap, having something delicious, AND feel like someone else did all the cooking. Nice, eh? Hyvee just had a sale on their Hormel Pork Center Cut Loin Filet - it's usually $9.99 for over 1.5 lbs - and on sale it was B1G1 free. (Which is a great deal!!!) So tonight I cooked the Mesquite Barbeque one for the first time and as you can tell it was a huge hit.

Wow. I know I say this every month - and I will probably be saying this for the rest of my life - but I cannot believe how fast the time is going! Our little baby girl is a mere three months away from her first birthday! And it truly feels like just yesterday that we were celebrating her THREE month birthday! As I said before, she weighed in at 16 pounds 13.5 ounces and was 27 inches tall! Her
head (75%) and height (between the 50-75%) have followed the same curve
as always but her weight has started to drop off her curve (25%). We
will go back in a month to weigh her to make sure everything is okay.
I learn more and more about Presley everyday, especially as her personality develops and emerges. As much as I enjoy hogging her to myself, I think one of my favorite things is watching how she interacts with other people. Here is what my little beauty has been up to...
She no longer keeps bows on her head. Once she realizes it's there, she reaches up and tugs it down off h…
At my second baby shower, everyone filled out their wishes for Presley once she is here and as she grows. Every answer means so much to me from these people who love me and who are excited to start loving Presley! I wanted to share some of the responses... the funny ones, the sweet ones, and all of the thoughtful wishes.
I hope that you learn kindness, to pray, your ABC's, how beautiful you are, baby stuff, to go potty, that God loves you, to love, to make the right choices, how to blow kisses, to love as much as your mom, respect, to cherish every moment, you can't change the past, to be forgiving.
I hope you are not afraid to be strong, of the dark, to go after your dreams, of Mondays, of cats, of anything, to be yourself, to swim, to take chances, be happy with life, of storms, spiders-- they really won't hurt you!, roller coasters-- they're fun!
I hope you love to dance, puppies, to laugh, rattles, life, everyone who loves you, school, to play, bananas, books, u…
